About Yakira Brasa Kids
A vision birthed from Yahweh's heart for Africa's most vulnerable precious, beloved, and highly valued children.
Yakira Brasa Kids was initiated by Yvonne, a woman whose heart was captured by God's love for Africa's most vulnerable children.
Together with a devoted friend in Nigeria, her vision grew into a well-structured, faith-centered organization and was officially launched on January 27, 2026.
The Name Yakira
Derived from Hebrew origins, the word Yakira embodies three sacred truths:

The Name Brasa
From Papiamento heritage, the word Brasa carries the warmth of community:
