Zero Tolerance Statement

Yakira Brasa Kids maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward child abuse, exploitation, and harassment in any form. We align with international child protection standards to create a safe, nurturing environment for every child we serve.

Code of Conduct

Required Behaviours

  • Treating every child with dignity and respect
  • Maintaining professional boundaries at all times
  • Adhering to the "Two-Adult" rule — never alone with a child
  • Using only approved communication channels

Strictly Prohibited

  • Any form of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse
  • Sharing unauthorized photos or personal data of children
  • Giving unauthorized gifts or showing favoritism
  • Private social media contact with children

Recruitment & Screening

All staff, mentors, and volunteers undergo a rigorous screening process before working with any child in our programs.

Report a Concern

Any child, parent, guardian, or community member may report a safeguarding concern. All reports are protected under our non-retaliation policy.
